After the race, the Jeppe Festival kicked in. Entertainment was provided by Garth Taylor who really got the crowd going. The Jeppe Marimba band, Mamela drummers and Hlabelela (our traditional voice choir) also performed. The Grade 9 girls ran their entrepreneurial market and had a large number of items for sale ranging from baskets and dream catchers to decorative chalk boards, cushions, pencil cases, wind chimes, jewellery, t shirts and scarves.  There were a number of food stalls and entertainment for the kids. Bubble Bounce took over the astro and a lot of fun was had by all. Thank you to all the Jeppe friends and family and members of the community who supported the day as well as all of our sponsors who made the day possible. A special thanks to Forks and Fingers, Le Visage, Travel Counsellors, Maddie Magoo, Planet Fittness, Curves, Harcourts, Zin Plex, PBS Machine Tools, Trenchless Technologies and SMEC consultants.

All proceeds are going towards our pedestrian bridge which will join our two campuses together so that girls do not have to cross the busy Roberts Avenue.
