Jeppe Schools World Cup Anthem on YouTube

The Jeppe Mixed Choir, comprising learners from Jeppe Girls and Jeppe Boys, recorded a World Cup Anthem on Friday 4th June.
The anthem, entitled “Under the African Sun” has been entered into the YouTube World Cup Song 2010 competition that is on at present. The song was compiled in collaboration with a variety of people and Mrs Irene Morrick, Jeppe Girls’ Choir Director who has been leading the initiative says “It is quite unique – with lyrics in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian, Dutch and all of South Africa’s official languages.
