Don’t miss the Jeppe Choir live on SABC1’s Good Morning Mzansi this Saturday 3 July Between 6 and 7 am.

The mixed choir, comprising learners from Jeppe Girls and Jeppe Boys, recorded Under the African Sun” on 4^th June for a YouTube Word Cup Song 2010 competition. The song was compiled in collaboration with a variety of people. Mrs Irene Morrick, Jeppe Girls’ Choir Director who has been leading the initiative says, “It is quite unique – with lyrics in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian, Dutch and all of South Africa’s official languages."

So get up early and tune into SABC 1 to see the choir performing their anthem live!
