District Chess

7 of Jeppe’s chess girls were selected to play on Saturday 20th May 2017 in District finals:

U15 – Anuluk Ramjan, Kristen Low Yeun and Chiara Cotumaccio

U18 – Mahima Vandayar, Tafadzwa Makhuza, Pumi Dube and Genevieve Bonus

Anuluk Ramjan came 3rd in the district and Kristen Low Yeun came 5th in the district in the u15 section.

Mahima Vandayar was the overall winner and received a trophy and a gold medal; Tafadzwa Makhuza was placed second and received a gold medal; Pumi Dube came fourth and received a yellow ribbon medal and Genevieve Bonus came 6th and received a brown ribbon medal.
