Admission
Admission to the school is strictly according to the GDE admissions policy.

The Official Registration process for 2011 applications will commence on 13 July 2010 and close on 23 September 2010. 

APPLICATION FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM THE SCHOOL FROM 13 JULY  2010.

Applications must be made on the appropriate documentation and accompanied by the following documents:

Learner's most recent school report
Learner's unabridged birth certificate or identity document (original or verified copy)
Two recent passport-size photographs
Proof of residential address
Certified copy of both parents’/guardians’ identity documents

Applications made by non-citizens will also require the following documents:


Study permit
Temporary or permanent residence permits
Evidence of application to reside in South Africa
Applications will be accepted until the end of September as in past years .

Applicants will receive a receipt on application. This will be followed by a waiting list number in writing once the form has been processed. The waiting list number will advise applicants of their position on:


Waiting List A for applicants for whom this is the closest high school (either to their home or parents place of work), or on
Waiting List B for applicants for whom this is not the closest high school.

By the end of October, all applicants will be informed by letter as to whether their application has been successful or not.

Successful applicants will be asked to pay a registration fee as determined by the Governing Body on acceptance. This fee will be deducted from the first year’s school fees. Admission to the school will not be finalised until this payment is made. Should a place be reserved for a pupil who then does not enrol on the first day of the school year, the place will be forfeited.

Unsuccessful applicants will be placed on a waiting list.
