Hockey is a well established sport at Jeppe. The squad is comprised of 8 teams, 2 in each age group. Jeppe participates competitively in the combined District 9 and 10 high school hockey league and enters the Pullen/Howell tournament every year.

A number of our girls have been successful in provincial trials in all age groups. Stacey Turner (12W), Cara Tennant (12L) and Cheyanne Noble (9D) were selected to represent D9 Hockey at the 2010 Regional Trials and Cheri Lee Ribeiro (11N) was selected for the Southern Gauteng U21B Team.

Hockey is one of the sports we will be focussing on in the next few years by encouraging participation, hosting training clinics and improving the skills of our learners. The hockey girls attended a 2 day clinic with Alice Cadman and the senior players attended a Hockey camp in Potchefstroom in the April 2010 holidays as part of their pre-season training.

U/14 players are able to play hockey and netball in Term 2.
