Tennis is thriving at Jeppe Girls. We have a senior and junior league that enjoy competing against other schools, with six teams ranging from ranked players to very social players. We participate in the Inter-High and Inter-Zonal tournaments which include both government and private schools.

2011 Report
The tennis season got off to a slow start for us, as five of our first team and most experienced players matriculated at the end of 2010.However, dedicaction and perseverence began paying off towards the end of the season when we started winning a few games. The junior teams have improved with every match played.

Thanks to funding from "The Lottery", we have ten beautifully resurfaced courts ane we are looking forward to next year's seson in anticipation.

2009 Report
We have again enlisted the help of Dean’s Tennis Academy to coach the girls but were able to have very few practice sessions this year, because of the rain. Our A and B Tennis teams only managed to play four fixtures due to the rain always coming down at 14h00 on a Tuesday, while the C & D teams played 5 fixtures. Congratulations to the B team, who won all of their matches this year.
