Volleyball
Volleyball is a growing sport in South Africa and Jeppe Girls play an active role in the Gauteng Youth Volleyball Development league, which promotes the sport in schools. The league organises regional tournaments, for both senior girls and junior girls. The top teams in each region play each other at inter-regional games and the winners go through to the provincial finals. A number of our girls were awarded Provincial colours in 2008.

Volleyball is a team game in which the players really need to communicate and play as one unit. It is an exciting time to be involved in the growth of this sport. It is played in the first, third and fourth school terms.
